This September, the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge visitor center is proud to host
"Nature of Massachusetts," an inspiring photography exhibit by the members of the Massachusetts Camera Naturalist Club.
Founded in 1959, this group of dedicated photographers celebrates the beauty of the natural world through the images they create. As club members, they share ideas and techniques for capturing a wide variety of subjects, including plants, animals, and landscapes. Through their work, the club seeks to promote public appreciation for the environment and foster a strong conservation ethic.
We invite you to stop by the visitor center to view this wonderful collection of nature photography.
Parker River National Wildlife Refuge is thrilled to welcome back Ipswich photographer Emily T. Nelson as our Artist of the Month for August and September!
Many of you may remember Emily’s stunning previous exhibit, which transported visitors to the Pantanal, the world’s largest freshwater wetland. This month, she takes us on an even more epic journey to the pristine, windswept landscapes of Antarctica and Patagonia.
