Did you know that White-rumped Sandpipers can travel from the Arctic Circle to southern South America, migrating through our area each spring and fall? Or that female phalaropes have more colorful plumage than their male counterparts? During this virtual lecture, Bill will discuss these and many other interesting facts while sharing stunning photographs of the shorebird species that regularly occur in New England.
